What is JapDirect?

Founded in New Zealand, JapDirect delivers rare, high-quality performance parts straight from Japan, a true gift for your build.

Many of our products are either made-to-order or shipped directly from Japan, so wait times may vary but the reward is something truly extraordinary - parts you won’t find in local stores.

How long does shipping take?

Exclusive Japan Imported Products: Typically 10–21 business days. Each part is shipped directly from Japan, often from specialized manufacturers with limited production schedules. Shipping times can change, and we cannot guarantee exact delivery dates.
In-Stock Items: If an item is already in our warehouse, it usually ships within 1–2 business days.

Do all orders have tracking?

Since most products are ordered directly from Japan, tracking may not always be available once you have placed an item. Rest assured, we’ll keep you updated and notify you as soon as your order is on its way.

What are pre-orders & made-to-order products?

Some parts, including Kurtz JZ Customs, are unique and made-to-order. By pre-ordering, you reserve your part directly, ensuring you get it before it sells out. Estimated shipping times are displayed on the product page.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout. Some larger or fragile items may require special freight, which we handle carefully to protect your parts.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide. Please note that import duties, customs fees, or taxes may apply for international deliveries and are the responsibility of the buyer.

How are parts packaged?

Each item is carefully packaged via our supplier for its journey from Japan to you. Fragile or large items receive extra protection so they arrive safely and ready to install.

What if my order arrives damaged or is lost?

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If items arrive damaged or are lost in transit, contact us with photos and your order number. We’ll work directly with the supplier or courier to resolve it as quickly as possible. Some delays may occur due to language barriers or supplier processes in Japan.
